The V6B team used Galapagos Turquoise cabinetry to create a focal point of colour in this penthouse Kitsilano kitchen. Storage space was maximized by including a large pullout pantry unit, base drawers, and 7 base pullouts including a pullout waste bin. Accenting on the hood was created using genuine brass, complimented with brass cabinet pulls and pendant lighting. The beautiful double waterfall countertops, backsplash, and fireplace surround used Dekton’s Natura Gloss quartz. Having a glossy finish for these surfaces was important to the client and designer in order to reflect more light throughout the home, and the natural veining of the quartz worked beautifully to add an organic and calming energy to the bold space. A feature you don’t see here - touchless undercabinet lighting for seamless function. These elements combined beautifully to create an incredible transformation of this client’s kitchen and living space.
